Codex Has Taken the IDE's Place

My IDE used to sit on the large right-hand monitor, with the browser and documentation on the left. Now Codex occupies the right screen. The layout stayed the same because that is still where the main work happens.

I can spend most of a minute reading something in the browser on the left while the agent works on the right and still feel that I am working and browsing on the side, not the other way around. The main process is still on the right: I keep its state in my head, review the result, step in at decision points, and launch the next phase.

It turns out that the main work screen is no longer necessarily the one where I am constantly typing and moving the mouse. I used to produce changes there myself. Now the changes are produced there under my direction.
